What are some signs to look for depression when coping with the death of a parent? - coping with depression more condition_symptoms
I lost my father and I have not broken. I called for two years, since receiving a diagnosis of cancer. It was the terminal in June this year. I sometimes cry, but not an uncontrollable crying, I think he is at peace and I know that pain. Now I'm sore, I feel - like the flu. Not sure if this is in pain. Any help would be very useful.

Teri - I am sorry for your father. The grieving process is one that can go long with different reactions. It seems that all cases are memories for us. I see my son this year and still not at family photos.
Your pain is more important than the tension likely, but not new to this symptom of depression. Of course, the first thing you for a possible physical cause, like a virus, or even allergies.
The following website is a good year for the pain and understand what you are experiencing.

Sorry for your loss. Although every situation is different, I too lost my mother and my father to cancer, and in both cases, I felt such sadness in this process. Not after.
If you have not yet done so, I suggest you read a copy of "On Death and Dying" by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. This is an excellent book that describes the stages of grief. You can find consolation in it. I think what happens is the work of mourning (experience in the world is a little different). With my parents it was probably some time after its passage, if the strength of hit me and I felt drained, exhausted, just terrible. Remember, you've probably taken a lot of stress and anxiety in a moment. This can be in a variety of physical symptoms.
However, if you still feel you might want to talk about helping a doctor or therapist.
Best regards,
